A message from President LaRae Dobbs

Our business is people - keeping them safer by sharing resources, information, and open communication.

"There's no harm in hoping for the best as long as you're prepared for the worst." - Stephen King

Our Purpose

WAHA was formed to promote all hazards planning, preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation for all hazards, further the professional advancement of all hazards preparedness, and to insure and maintain protection of life and property from disasters throughout the State of Wyoming.

Our History

The Association was originally formed as an organization in 1968 known as The Emergency Preparedness Association of Wyoming. However, as Emergency Management transitioned to Homeland Security after the events of 9/11, EMAW slowly became inactive. The Association reorganized as Wyoming All Hazards Association (WAHA) and was formalized at a meeting in Riverton on March 13, 2014.
