Our Mission...

Our Ethics...

The purpose of WAHA shall be to promote all hazards planning, preparedness, response, recovery or mitigation for all hazards, further the professional advancement of all hazards preparedness, and to insure and maintain protection of life and property from disasters throughout the State of Wyoming.  To accomplish this, WAHA shall endeavor to:

Encourage emergency planning and preparedness at all levels of planning.

Enhance and encourage public education of emergency and disaster prevention and preparedness.

Provide training, exercises and professional development

Improve coordination and communication within the all hazards community

Assist other agencies in promoting educational programs for all hazards preparedness within the State of Wyoming

In March 2010, through an act of the legislature, Wyoming adopted an official state code of ethics, called the "Code of the West". WAHA also adopted this code, and expects our members to strive to follow it. Learn more about Cowboy Ethics here.
