Wyoming Inter-County Mutual Aid Agreement
The local coordinators in collaboration with other public and private agencies within the state are required by Wyoming State Statute Title 19, Chapter 13, Section 109 (A) to develop mutual aid arrangements for reciprocal homeland security aid and assistance in case of disaster of extreme nature which affects two or more political subdivisions.
Therefore, to meet the Wyoming State Statute requirements, Local Coordinators has established the Wyoming Inter-County Mutual Aid Agreement. This agreement establishes the terms and conditions by which signatory Wyoming counties and/or tribes may request aid and assistance from any other signatory counties and/or tribes in responding to an emergency, disaster or overtaxing planned event that exceeds the resources available to a requesting jurisdiction.
The map on the above shows the current signatory Wyoming counties. This map will be updated as more counties sign this agreement.
WAHA would like to thank the South West Wyoming counties for their hard work and dedication in bringing this document forward to all the counties throughout Wyoming.
